South Beach Film Festival 2025
The 2025 South Beach Film Festival will attract artists, movie lovers and celebrities from all over the world to indulge in a week of movie features, industry leaders gathering, directors meet & greets, theme events, fundraisers, cocktail parties and so much more.
We are excited to bring the first major film festival to South Beach produced by top film actors and producers.
The focus of the festival program is to feature short films, International films, comedy, documentaries and culturally and socially relevant films from diverse directors and storytellers. The inaugural South Beach Film Festival is a 3 day film festival that will take place at various venues throughout Miami Beach.

Diego Caiola
Founder/Project Director
Born in Argentina and raised in Miami Beach, Diego Caiola, is the Project Development Director for Cross Minded Marketing Group a Florida Marketplace Group company and has over 22 years experience in Business Marketing and Project Development field. Diego Caiola has developed over 350 projects in his short but diverse career. After attending art school majoring in film and production, Diego Caiola started his career as one of the youngest Creative Director in South Florida at the age of 23, working with brands such as Toyota, Gerber and numerous liquor brands. Diego Caiola is also the publisher of the Miami Beach Life Magazine, the only “Locals” publication in Miami Beach. Diego is also the Project Director and founder of South Beach Film Festival.

Angelo Fresquet, from Miami of Cuban descent, is a filmmaker and entrepreneur based in Miami. He is known for his work on the docuseries "Nightlife Empire," which explores Miami's vibrant nightlife scene. Angelo comes from a creative family; he is the grandson of Cuban composer Gonzalo Roig and the son of political cartoonist Fresquito Fresquet. In addition to filmmaking, Angelo has extensive experience in marketing and branding, having worked with various companies in the hospitality, nightlife, entertainment, and luxury sectors globally, for over 35 years. He is the producer and co-creator of Nightlife Empire Docuseries @nightlifempire "All the Untold Miami stories" "How Miami became the Nightlife Capital of the World" and "the New Making of South Beach series" and "The Miami Made Show "setting the record straight" podcast.
Bobby Radical is a filmmaker and artist from Miami Beach, known for his pioneering role in capturing the vibrant nightlife of South Beach through his documentary "The Making of South Beach". He founded Radical Surfwear in 1983 and worked as an art director in New York City before returning to Miami in 1988. Bobby's work focuses on the transformation of Miami Beach into a global nightlife hub during the late '80s and '90s, highlighting its cultural impact and the community that shaped it.
